I hear you. I know what it’s like to feel like you’re at breaking point and if there’s one more thing to do, you’re gonna snap. This isn’t that. This is the thing that makes the list stop running your life. I’ve been through a lot of trauma. Will this work for me?

Many of the women I work with carry complex trauma and deep emotional pain (although they might not use those words). Alignment Coaching is a gentle, trauma-aware way to reconnect with yourself and rebuild your sense of safety and self-trust. We listen, move slowly, and build capacity together.

 

That said, this coaching isn’t a substitute for therapy or clinical mental health care. If you’re in crisis, dealing with untreated PTSD or depression, or need more support than coaching offers, I lovingly encourage you to get the care you need. But if you do feel ready to do the work of coming home to yourself, gently and at your pace, this will absolutely support your healing.

Surviving on Empty vs Living in Alignment

If you keep going as you are

You wake up already tired: heart racing, mind spinning, braced for the day ahead.
You hold your breath through meetings, texts, and school visits, waiting for the next fire to put out.
You collapse on the couch at night, too wired to rest but too exhausted to do anything else, wondering: “Is this just life now?”
You cry in the car, snap at your partner, or doom scroll for hours. Then feel shame for not holding it together.
You look like you’ve got it together, but you feel disconnected, resentful, and despairing. You’re the one making it all work for everyone else, but what about you?
You keep putting up with things: the draining job, the partner who doesn’t see you, the schedule that crushes you. That feels easier than rocking the boat.
You can’t imagine what a different life would even look like. You only know this one is quietly suffocating you.
You feel like you’re always falling short. No matter how much you do, it never feels like enough.

You have a framework you can return to again and again. You know how to notice, self-regulate, and come back to yourself. You have tools, language, and a foundation of self-acceptance, self-love, and self-trust that stays with you for life.

Fences Are Uncomfortable To Sit On …

So it’s surprising how long we can stay on them.

Although you know things need to change, it never feels like quite the right time.

I totally get it. Change can feel hard and scary. And the part inside that wants to protect you just wants everything to stay the same. Even if it hurts.

“I just need to get through this week.”
“When things calm down at work.”

Things won’t magically get lighter. You won’t wake up one day with more time, clarity, or capacity.

I had to learn that I hadn’t burned out because I was stressed. I’d burned out because my body was trying to get me to slow down and listen to my soul.

Once I paid attention and developed my own vision of a meaningful life, based on my values, I gained a whole new level of clarity. It was obvious what in my life was in alignment, and what wasn’t.

Slowly, I started to make changes.

I went from being burned out and boxed in to feeling energized and lit up, because I was creating a life I loved.

I went from coaching high-performing teams to help them survive in the system I’d escaped, to helping women at breaking point create joyful lives that make them wanna pinch themselves (cos honestly, that’s how I feel most days now).

And I left behind the grind of city life in a Baltimore row home for my off-grid dream in a tiny home in the Bitterroot Mountains of Idaho. These days I wake up to birdsong and stillness, not traffic and tension. I tend the land, invest time with our two horses, and drink fresh spring water that nourishes my body and soul in a way the city never could.

Today I measure my success by how much fun I’m having and how little time I’m in front of a computer screen.

This work is a process, and I can’t promise you things will magically get better overnight.

What I can promise you is:

  • I’ll always show up for you with presence, love, and fierce respect for your truth
  • I’ll walk beside you with tools, clarity, and care, as you reconnect with the parts of you that got buried under the pressure to be everything for everyone
  • I’ll hold space for what’s real, and help you move forward from there. Not from who you think you’re supposed to be.

Alignment isn’t an outcome to achieve. It’s a powerful, imperfect, beautiful process of choosing yourself, over and over again.
