A poem of reflection as I kick off my year of Surrender and honor the past years of Healing, Trust, and Intuition.<\/p>\n
After years of controlling,
\nquestioning and doubt,
\nshe finally chose to release.<\/p>\n
To release the stories that weren’t serving,
\nthe relationships that were self-harming,
\nand the experiences that were triggering.<\/p>\n
She sang to her wounds,
\nAllowed them to share their pain
\nAnd learned each of their names.<\/p>\n
And in a slow dance of completion
\nshe pulled the wisdom from each one
\nand stitched up the rest.<\/p>\n
With that medicine brewing inside her,
\nshe grew stronger, wiser, and more patient.
\nShe leaned towards love.<\/p>\n
Like a flower in the darkness
\nstretching towards the light.
\nShe finally felt the nourishment
\nthat was always there for her to taste.<\/p>\n
Love for herself.
\nLove for her truth.
\nLove for what is and what isn’t.<\/p>\n
The healing transmuted to trust
\nThe trust ignited intuition
\nAnd the intuition created knowing.<\/p>\n
From that well of infinite possibilities
\nshe finally chose to surrender.<\/p>\n
