SparkVision’s Contributing Writers

by | Nov 4, 2016

Moving into our second year of business,  there’s specialized “workplace culture” territory we want to cover that we simply aren’t – nor do we have the capacity to be – experts in.

With incredible visionaries in our personal and professional tribe, we are proud to bring on three regular contributors to our blog community. They are amazing humans, talented writers and gifted professionals.

I’m confident you’ll enjoy their perspectives to give an even more rounded voice to all that makes people and workplaces thrive.

Cory J. Anderson will partner with SparkVision as a voice for equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. His work will provide enlightened thinking towards taking tangible steps in creating more inclusive environments.  He is a facilitator, consultant, and life coach. He is passionate about using facilitated conversations as a tool to increase understanding and personal development. Cory attended Eastern Michigan University obtaining a Bachelor’s in International Business and Master’s in Educational Leadership. He has held various leadership positions with several nonprofit organizations and universities facilitating multicultural education. He is the founder of Diverse Dialogues, an organization focused on breaking down barriers through conversation. A native of metro Detroit, Cory has always lived in a multicultural environment which he credits as his inspiration to change the world, one conversation at a time. Follow him on Twitter @mrca12.

Christiana Mercer Rigby writes passionately about millennial parents in the workplace and actively embraces the term “millennial mom.” She’s a seasoned nonprofit professional, digital editor, community advocate, mother of small children, and lifelong learner. With a degree in Environmental science, and minor degrees in dance and sociology she’s never been one to take the straight forward path. As a compulsive volunteer she is still learning the difference between the right opportunities and the wrong ones. Community involvement is her passion and she’s forever interested in finding common ground in the perspectives of others. As a parent, she’s worked full time, part time, no time, and contract – so she’s seen it all. Christiana is also deeply active in her community serving on nonprofit boards and government committees.

Dov Hoffman joins the SparkVision contributing team as an experienced marketing expert and well-known professional in the Baltimore region and beyond. As an account manager at Right Source Marketing, he works with his clients to strategize their marketing efforts across the full spectrum of digital marketing channels. In this and previous roles, Dov has demonstrated a proven ability to develop and implement tactical marketing initiatives that support business goals.

Through his professional and volunteer experiences, Dov has demonstrated his leadership expertise and his commitment to serving his community. He strongly believes in this important lesson from Abraham Lincoln: “In the end, it’s not the years in your life count. It’s the life in your years.” He shows that belief by spending his time volunteering, traveling, and sharing his personal experiences to improve the lives of others.
